Mulch

Our nutrient-rich garden mulch is a blend of composted manure, mushroom compost and wood chip, creating a versatile mulch that helps protect and improve garden soil.

Ideal for gardens and landscaping projects across Dorset and Somerset, our mulch helps retain moisture, improve soil condition and gradually release valuable nutrients into the ground. It can be used around established plants, shrubs, trees, beds and borders.

Garden Mulch Delivery in Dorset and Somerset

Chedington Mulch is suitable for a wide range of gardening and landscaping uses, including:

• Garden beds and borders: Apply around established plants and shrubs to help protect the soil and maintain better growing conditions.
• Moisture retention: Helps reduce moisture loss from the soil, particularly during warmer and drier weather.
• Soil improvement: Can be used as a soil enhancer, gradually adding organic matter and nutrients as it breaks down.
• Weed suppression: A good layer of mulch can help reduce weed growth by limiting light reaching the soil surface.
• Encouraging soil activity: Helps encourage earthworm activity, supporting a healthier and more naturally active soil.
